After nearly a decade of experience in the trade founder Phil McIntyre decided the community needed a different kind of mechanical contractor. Having worked for very high end/very low buck, extremely large/very small residential/commercial/industrial by the minute, way over priced, professional and neighborhood Joe companies. Phil took the best customer service practices, highest ethical stand, highest technical installations, and in 2004 created a company whose goal was to deliver the customer the best value for their investment.

While specializing in residential replacement The Furnace Guy Inc. also actively maintains a commercial customer basis as well as residential builders. The commercial customers include hotels, restaurants, bars, retail spaces, and churches. The residential builders are new construction in addition to remodeling contractors. We do work closely with management companies at apartment complexes and mobile home communities. At this time no one at The Furnace Guy Inc has less than ten years experience. Belief in best practice in installation and service, all of our installers and technicians are NATE certified. They are also regularly trained in manufacture of wholesaler products and sent to training and refresher courses.  Every practice employed in either service or installation is directly licensed by ACCA SMACNA or manufacturers directions. These practices have lead to an extremely low rate of trouble upon start up. 0.001% or 1 in every 1000 pieces of equipment has a start up problem.
